I have a beautiful two year old. I try to praise my child very specifically for the actions she does - instead of saying you good girl. I say thank you for brushing your teeth or I let her call her daddy and tell him she made home made ice pops. Anyway, praising children is a very important topic - it's unfortunate the article isn't more clear.
